Foundations Cohort Join our 3-week comprehensive webinars designed to help you create a solid foundation as you grow your business and prepare for access to capital. • Understand the basics of Business Financials, begin to track income and expenses and learn to create an Income Statement • Stay compliant and organize important business documents in one comprehensive Business Financial Organizer • Learn about different types of capital, impacts of personal and business financials, and access to subject matter experts through 1:1 counseling Requirements: • Commit to attending (3) on-line sessions and be prepared to learn and take action • Have an open mind to and willingness to apply what you learn • Determination to build a solid foundation so you can build a sustainable business Weekly class focus: • January 28th – Business Organization: Build your Business Records Binder to keep important documents in one place. Learn the importance of keeping clean and separate personal and business financial records. Have everything in order and ready to meet with funders • February 4th – high level overview of business financials: understanding importance of good bookkeeping, purpose of income statement, balance sheet, cashflow statement. Begin to create your income and expense worksheet. • February 11th – Personal & Business Finance: high level overview of importance of having good personal finance and role it plays in building and financing business. Receive resources on getting out of debt and monitoring credit scores. Each session will be on zoom beginning at 11:00am – 12:30pm. 1:1 appointment(s) with Rayann and our Financial CPA will be available on a first come first served basis.
